Collection: Lavender Practice

Where science, nature, and the healing arts converge. The Lavender Practice at Cloudscape Hill is rooted in two distinct but deeply complementary disciplines — brought to life in the lavender fields of our Michigan farm.

Ecotherapy & Hilltending

Jim holds a Ph.D. in Depth Psychology with a focus on ecopsychology and is a practicing ecotherapist. His work — grounded in the Hilltending philosophy he developed through his doctoral research — is built on the principle that human well-being is intrinsically tied to the health of the living world. Sessions take place in and around the lavender rows and woodlot on the property, where the land itself becomes part of the healing process.

Yoga, Somatics & Nutrition

Casey brings a rare combination of scientific rigor and embodied practice to her work. With a B.S. in Biomedical Science and Nutrition and certification as a yoga instructor (RYT200), she understands wellness from the inside out — from the cellular level to the breath. Her approach integrates movement, somatics, and nutritional science into a holistic framework for living well.

This is not a hobby. This is a practice — grounded in credentials, cultivated in the fields, and offered with genuine care.
